Entryway

  • Toss junk mail, expired coupons, or old receipts

  • Donate unused shoes or outerwear

  • Clear surfaces (key drop, console table, baskets)

  • Add a tray or bowl for essentials only (keys, sunglasses)

Living Room

  • Remove or donate outdated décor

  • Recycle old magazines or books you won’t re-read

  • Organize remotes, chargers, and tech cords

  • Donate throw pillows or blankets you no longer use

  • Create a “home” for everyday items (coasters, remotes, candles)

Kitchen

  • Discard expired pantry items, spices, or condiments

  • Recycle duplicate water bottles, mugs, or containers

  • Toss chipped dishes or mismatched Tupperware

  • Wipe and organize fridge & freezer shelves

  • Clear counters of non-daily items (appliances, décor)

Bedroom

  • Donate clothes that don’t fit your current lifestyle or size

  • Recycle or donate worn-out bras, socks, and underwear

  • Declutter jewelry and accessories you haven’t worn in 1 year

  • Remove old electronics or broken chargers

  • Keep nightstands clear—just a book, candle, journal

Home Office

  • Recycle old papers, notebooks, and non-essential files

  • Shred sensitive documents you no longer need

  • Toss dried-out pens, mismatched sticky notes, extra cords

  • Digitize notes or ideas and store in a cloud folder

  • Clear your desk to only what you need daily

  • Organize drawers with dividers for tools, chargers, supplies

Bathroom

  • Toss expired skincare, makeup, and medicine

  • Recycle or donate unused samples and hotel toiletries

  • Use baskets to contain items under the sink

  • Limit what’s on the counter to everyday essentials

Closet

  • Use the “love it, wear it, need it” rule

  • Remove seasonal clothes not in use

  • Get rid of multiples (how many black tees do you really need?)

  • Toss empty hangers, broken organizers

  • Organize by type, then color

Mental + Digital Clutter

  • Unsubscribe from emails that drain your energy

  • Organize desktop files and cloud folders

  • Delete unused apps from your phone

  • Remove toxic social media accounts or mute them

  • Take inventory of lingering tasks or decisions and write them down
